We are looking for a talented web designer to join our team. You should have experience working with Web 2.0 based applications, web based user interfaces, solid CSS abilities and a decent understanding of JavaScript. If you only use flash and tables for laying out a page, you are not the right fit for this position.

The ideal candidate should be:



A designer with strong XHTML/CSS skills and extensive experience with cross browser compatibility and CSS optimization.

Passionate and detail oriented about design and usability

Someone with deep understanding of website layout and usability

Able to complete work without supervision

Easy to get along with and drama free!





Requirements:



Minimum 2+ years relevant business experience

Expert in CSS, HTML and DHTML

Experience working with AJAX based applications

Good design sensibilities

Ruby/Ruby on Rails experience is a plus

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and people skills

Must be fairly competent in English





It's a plus if you:



Have experience working on open source products

Have your own blog

Are involved in the tech community

Have experience working at startups

What exactly do we do?



Our product is a web-based application for real estate agencies located around the world. We use Ruby on Rails, CSS, Ajax, MySQL, Linux, and an agile development process. We provide a complete online real estate management solution to help real estate professionals increase sales, reduce time dealing with tedious tasks, and get a clear picture into the state of their businesses. Our product has a lot going on the competitors, and we are looking for applicants who are interested in working on complex problems and coming up with innovative solutions that will change the way real estate companies do business. We have already launched the beta version of our product and are looking to grow it quickly.
